- Private Stewardship Program
The Fish and Wildlife Service administers a variety of natural resource assistance grants to governmental, public and private organizations, groups and individuals. For FY04, the Service will award more than $7 million in Federal funding under the Private Stewardship Program to fund local, private and voluntary conservation efforts that benefit federally listed, proposed or candidate species or other at-risk species. If SAI grant applicants are implementing IPM programs near at-risk species and meet other criteria, they may be eligible for this program.
